"A Pittance of Time."

Every year about the time, just before Veterans Day, I post this short video by singer and song writer Terry Kelley. He was in a store in Nova Scotia on Veterans Day and, via the PA system, the customers where asked to observe two minutes of silence to honor those Veterans who had served their countries faithfully and with honor. One man who was with his young daughter however was too busy to be bothered with this solemn display.

If'n y'all haven't seen this afore, I think you'll enjoy it, and if ya have seen it, I think you'll enjoy it again.

"A Pittance of Time."

Now Sir, tomorrow my wife and myself will be attending a wonderful affair held every years at The Turning Stone Casino in Oneida, NY. Several years back, the Oneida Indian Nation began holding a posh, sit down breakfast to honor all veterans. Best of all, its FREE!! It started small but over the past few years has grown to accommodate and serve over 300 Veterans and their spouses. BTW, during the Revolutionary War, when Washington and his men were starving and freezing to death at Valley Forge, an Oneida Nation woman and several braves made the long cold journey in the dead of winter to bring food and supplies to his starving army. This act contributed greatly to our success to gain our independence.

The event is held in "The Shenandoah Clubhouse", an exceptionally beautiful facility which recently held a PGA tournament featuring Tiger Woods. The event always features a well know and prestigious speaker and, most importantly, lots of great camaraderie between all services, even the Marines. Tomorrow I'll try and take some photygraffs and tell y'all how it turned out.

This is an important topic to me, taxpayer funded abortions in the upcoming 2000 page Healthcare bill which The WSJ has deemed to be "The Worst Bill Ever Written!". It's only a 30 second spot and its YOUR MONEY America. BTW, Obama has a short 4 second sound bite in the ad, and ya know sumthin mates, I wouldn't believe him even if he said he was born in the United States...er...OH, wait a minute. He said that already didn't he...Hmmm. Well, at any rate, like a certain Congressman recently stated, "You Lie!"
