A very sad day.....Goodbye Czarina

As anyone who has ever owned a pet knows, there comes that day when you must part. About a week ago our Wolf/Dog, Czarina became very ill and we immediately took her to the veterinarians office. I won't go into what was wrong with her but it was very serious, and after a week of administering 9 various medications to her several times daily, her condition did not improve and worsened, and her quality of life was non-existent.

When you own and love a faithful pet, watching them suffer is absolutely terrible, and so is the decision you must eventually make if you want the animal to stop their suffering. In my life, I have just about always owned a dog, and have had to endure having them put to sleep at least 6 times, and it DOES NOT get any easier. This morning at 9:00 AM, my wife and myself had to have her put down. Our only solace being that she suffers no more.

She had been a family member for almost 10 years, and even though she was registered hybrid Wolf-Dog, her disposition was very loving and faithful. We have 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild, and if she had been dangerous in any way, we would never have allowed her to be around our grand children, but she was a very loving companion and protective to all of them. She will be missed dearly by the entire extended family.

Goodbye old friend.....
