"Born Again American"

I know, I know, been gone fer quite a spell. I'd like to thank all those good folks who sent e-mails or called me at home to check on me, your thoughts and concerns are very much appreciated. Been goin through some rough times as of late and found bloggin at the low end of my priorities list. I apologize to those who attempted to contact me and I didn't get back to y'all, My Bad, but your inquiries didn't go unnoticed, and as I stated, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

Frankly, this is the first time I've even been on the computer in at least two months, and have accumulated over 1000 e-mails that I have not answered, or hardly even read for that matter. Upon checking my comment moderation, I found many messages that I have now posted. I must say, that I'm somewhat overwhelmed with the number of comments and e-mails regarding my well being. Again, I profusely apologize to all whom I did not acknowledge and get back to.

What's been goin on in this once great nation has really got me down. I'm 65 years old and have seen many things in my life, but NEVER thought I would ever see the kind of insanity and complete forfeiture of common sense and logic that has permeated our society and government. Watching the biased, greatly slanted, and in some cases out and out lies of the news reports of NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC simply serves to anger and sadden this old patriot. As near as I can tell, about the only truthful reportage to be found is on Fox News. If you are an extreme left liberal reading this, don't even bother to leave a comment as I will not post it or your bullshit diatribes. It would be a complete waste of both our time. Maybe what we all need is an attitude change as sung about in this song.
